A lo largo de la novela se mantiene cierta confusi&amp;oacute;n sobre el origen del traje, del que se dice que era &amp;ldquo;un traje de guerrero jefe de tribu en Jol&amp;oacute;&amp;rdquo; (37), para luego insistir en que era &amp;ldquo;de viejo guerrero chino&amp;rdquo; (47) y concluir con que el traje era de un antepasado de la familia. Con la espada de este traje, Vicente acaba asesinando a su hermana, quien al contrario que &amp;eacute;l, ten&amp;iacute;a un aspecto muy occidental.</text>
