                  <text>&lt;br /&gt;Junto a sus hermanos,&amp;nbsp;Romà Batlló i Sunyol era propietario&amp;nbsp;de una de las mayores fábricas textiles de la Barcelona del siglo XIX, Can Batlló, situada en un primer momento en la calle Urgell (actual recinto de la Escuela Industrial) y más adelante en el actual barrio de Sants. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Soltero y gran aficionado a los viajes, Batlló también practicó la fotografía, siendo fundador de la Sociedad Fotográfica Española.&lt;em&gt; A&lt;/em&gt;lgunos de sus viajes fueron documentados en libros, como&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;Notas fotográficas de un aficionado en sus viajes&lt;/em&gt; (1902),&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;El Japón a la vista&lt;/em&gt; (1904) o&amp;nbsp;&lt;em&gt;De la China al Mar Rojo: recuerdos de un viaje por el Asia meridional: China, Birmania, India inglesa, Java, Ceilán, Aden, Hauaii,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/em&gt;en el que se documentan sus viajes por Asia, Yemen y Hawaii. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Esta colección, única en la España de la época, presenta las fotografías de China reunidas en el libro, que fue publicado en Barcelona por Luis Tasso&amp;nbsp;a principios de siglo XX.</text>
